My story, Samaqyazeel, starts it's run at Fear and Trembling this week. By all means, stop by and have a look.

Since it's story best enjoyed while consuming French cuisine, you might want to at least pick up a Star Bucks French roasted and a croissant or two before reading. Yeah, that'll do. Hehe-heh....

» Even closer
Dec 20, 2008 - 8:07 PM - by Raymond Creed

(This poem was written on Friday, 19th September 2008, whilst seated on some rocks on some Moors. It expresses the sense of rapture which results from being near God.)

How I love being filled with your Holy Spirit,
How I value this time of intimacy
How I appreciate these all too rare periods
Where we can be together, without distraction
In your presence, I’m like a lovesick nanny goat

Dec 20, 2008 - 6:30 AM - by Anniel

Announces the Saviour's birth,
Animals gently ruminating
Sharing their home upon earth.

And Mary and Joseph watch over
Humbled at their personal role
In incarnation that particular night
In a stable two thousand years ago.

But surely there is still someone missing
The heart of this well-known... [Read More]

» Beginnings
Dec 15, 2008 - 1:21 PM - by Tell Tale
This is the rather whimsical tale of how I came to be a poet. Let me know what you think...

It all began when I went looking for God
Belt buckle on
Strapped in to the spaceship that is my mind
Intending to find intelligent life out there
somewhere
And after years of searching
I soon came to nowhere.
That place in the middle of left and right
Where light is as black as night
And the stars can't shine because that
Thick black canopy blinds their irreverent winking.
And here in nowhere I saw Nothing and Nobody walking side by side.
I guess Somebody died cause they were going to his funeral.
So I followed at a distance, intent on attending... [Read More]
